A  picture of Madonna’s new ad for Louis Vuitton has been leaked online. No surprise that Mr. Breathless is probablly the culprit. Good to see the Queen of Pop looking as smashing as ever.

Waking up this morning to hear this news is truly heartbreaking. The king of Pop Michael Jackson has passed away. Multiple reports say that the singer suffered a cardiac arrest thursday afternoon. When paramedics arrived at Jackson’s residence he had no pulse and once at the hospital the staff tried to resuscitate Jackson but failed to bring him back. The world lose truly a gifted an talented artist. I’m still comprehending that the king of pop is actually dead.

Michael Jackson reigned as the King of Pop in the 1980’s a title that no one else to this day was able to take from him. His once-stellar career had been overshadowed by his some what colorful and unique public behavior, his startling physical transformation that dramatically changed over the past 20 years and numerous allegations of child abuse. Following the 2005 acquittal he virtually lived a life of a recluse. Four years later Jackson is still worshipped by fans for his revolutionary music, groundbreaking dance moves that artists such as Justin Timberlake tried to mirror.

Even with all the rumors of child molestation charges one thing that cannot be argued Michael Jackson was the true King of Pop!

Today is a very sad day.

Bless you Michael for the 80’s, the music, for everything. You will be truly missed.

My thoughts go to the three children left behind and I pray that they get a life that Michael effortlessly tried to pursue for them.

Farrah Fawcett who has bravely battled cancer for the last few years has passed on. My thoughts go to her friends and family during this time of hardship.

The world loses another beautiful icon.

Farrah was 62.

Qsesh the sunday session for all sexual preferences is going to go off! A Fashion show by “Hopscotch clothing.” Two great vocalists take the stage of Qsesh this sunday “Lita” makes her debut performance, while Beth Lucas returns for an encore, The music talent just keeps on coming with DJ duo Elektrohead spinning on the turn tables, and let’s not forget the Qsesh resident DJs “Frankie Trouble” and “Jane Doe.”  We have Laura Haslem’s art on exhibition this sunday, and of course the live stencil spraying crew returns to create masterpieces before your very eyes. Qsesh kicks of from 4pm onwards and let’s not forget its free. Woot woot woot.

But the fun doesn’t stop there. After Qsesh I’ll be hitting Fluffys and omigod what a night Fluffy has lined up.  Jessica Mauboy will be gracing the stage with an exclusive 5 song performance. But what’s more exciting then Jessica Mauboy? Having he debut performance exclusively choreographed by Anthony Ikin and a team of 30 dancers. Can we say hot?  This is going to be one hell of a night especially with Harry K bringing along four of Brisbane’s best Djs to provide the beats that will keep you going right till morning.

Between attending Qsesh and Fluffys I’m gonna be rocking it up like there is no tomorrow and its already pretty clear sunday the 28^th of June 2009 will be a day remembered by many. God who needs Mardi Gras when you got this right at your finger tips. see you on the dance floor.

Word is Madonna is releasing a greatest hits album titled “Iconography” this September.  This will be her last album made with Warner Brothers and rumoured to contain three new songs. Why she needs another greatest hits album , I can’t help but wonder. Maybe the international adoption fees are starting to cost more or Warners Brothers just want to milk her for as much as they can for her final album with them.

I’m not overly sure about the timing though as Whitney Houston (God bless her soul) and Mariah Carey (stay admitted) are both releasing albums around the same time. I’m hugely excited about Whitney’s “Undefeated” which is due out on September 1, Only one week after Mariah releases “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel.”

I just hope Whitney and Madonna aren’t as uncreative as Mariah and release crap like her new single “Obsessed.” Either way I look at it, it’ll be a battle of the divas for who sells the most albums by the end of September.

Nothing like a good bit of friendly competition.
